THE commemorative double DVD of Reading Speedway's End-of-an-Era meeting on Sunday, October 19, is now available from Clean Cut Sports.
The disk set captures all events and action from what was an emotional evening for the 3000-plus crowd. Sadly the time had finally come for the Reading faithful to wave farewell to a stadium that had been the club’s home for the previous thirty-four seasons.
Disc One includes interviews with many of the Reading greats, including: Anders Michanek, Dave Mullett, Dave Lanning and Pat Bliss.
Disc Two contains all the action from the main meeting, Mad Wellie's laps of honour, the vintage races, sidecars, plus the farewell to Smallmead ride from Tim Sugar - or was it Dave Mullett?
Closing with the sensational fireworks display.
It runs to well over 2 hours and is priced at just £20 (plus £2 P&P).
